…completely hand done…

I’m not a quilter, this will never be a knitting (slash) quilting blog, I usually respond to quilting with “That’s nice” or “huh?”. (Except when Mason-Dixon Knitting(North) started cutting up and putting back together tablecloths, then I ’bout fell out of my chair).
I do appreciate fine handwork and I have a big bundle of it here.

This beauty was given to a relative, who, after many years, is downsizing and must part with it. It was up for grabs and I grabbed with the intention of getting it back to quilter who made it.

I looked at those tiny, perfect handstitches and imagined how precious it would be to one of her own kids or grandkids.

I got to enjoy it for a couple of months, I might even be starting to ‘get it’, now I’ll send it on it’s way.
