BFF and a good time to learn how to knit
I expected her to be considerably less mobile and thought that a ‘little something’ to keep her occupied would be just the thing.
I arrived with wine and pie and beautiful yarn…heh heh heh
She picked it up quickly and got cranking right along
respectable first effort in minutes
The next day this arrived in my Inbox:
Ripped and started over all be herself! Cast on and everything
Yay!

So many of my friends knit, it seemed time to learn! Pie and wine didn’t hurt either! It was great to “feel” the right moves and pick up some speed and control the yarn. I now have enough for a bean bag, but then I tried to teach myself to purl…might have to use giant limas! More pie on Sunday and a quick lesson on purling and how to undo–my I have so much to learn to see! Today’s cloudy layer might be a good day to pick it all back up. Thanks, Knit Woman!
